Esperanto made appearances in popular music at various occasions and this listing is not (and cannot be) complete. I know that there are more bands who used Esperanto or made songs about it, especially in France, Finland and Japan, but I need YOU to confirm the names before I post them on here. In the English-speaking world, there are composers such as Lou Harrison and David Gaines who used Esperanto texts and titles on occasion, and bands such as Radiohead, Sonic Youth and Elvis Costello & the Attractions used Esperanto on their album covers and/or credits.

In the German-speaking world, Esperanto received a lot of attention because the popular Hiphop band Freundeskreis released an entire album called "Esperanto", which not just contained the song "Esperanto" but also the first and the last track were spoken in Esperanto. This song was also featured on a single CD and on their "Best of" album.
